In 2008, I began my career as a corporate accountant. After graduating, I immediately started working as an accountant at an (online) insurance brokerage. Years later, I decided to switch careers and became a controller at one of the largest automotive companies in the Netherlands. My last employer was an international clothing company, where, as controller, I was responsible for the Dutch and international figures.
My broad career allows me to call myself an all-round advisor in administration and accounting and I have extensive knowledge of various sectors.
As a controller (working for an employer), you miss client contact. Personally, I’ve always found this enjoyable and interesting. This has put me in a position to start my own administrative and consulting firm. Here, I can do what I’m good at and be more present and supportive of clients and entrepreneurs.
After working as a tax advisor at several multinational consulting firms, where I provided specialized (international tax law) advice to multinational clients and their employees, I decided to establish Profinancials. This allowed me to take on a broader advisory role and specialize in the self-employed, SMEs, and private individuals.
In my current role, I advise multinational clients, but a larger part of my portfolio covers self-employed, SME and private clients.
In addition to my expertise in Dutch and international tax systems, I also have professional qualifications in the transport of goods and services and advise transport companies on matters such as tariffs, NIWO legislation, working hours legislation, and collective labor agreements.
